10/23 menu
Here’s what we’re eating this week:
Sunday- French Chicken in a Pot, smashed parsnips and potatoes, broccolini with garlic and lemon
Monday- at a friend’s, so no cooking but I did make a coconut cake as a birthday cake which I will be posting. It’s a recipe from the Macrina Bakery & Cafe Cookbook and my friend Brenda’s favorite request
Tuesday- Sausage and lentil soup with yummy Essential Bakery Como loaf
Wednesday- Turkey, pesto & cheese paninis and leftover soup
Thursday we’ll be at a friends again to celebrate the Indian new year, Diwali. I am bringing another coconut cake because I’ve found that the original recipe makes enough for two cakes and coconut goes so well with Indian food.
Friday- Chicken Bolognese and caesar salad adapted from one of my favorite Italian cookbooks, which I’ll post later.
